Why the beetle?

Relating on screen images of people to actual (life-size) people can be tricky and we needed a way to indicate the heights of our models. The vw beetle, being a universally recognised object, is perfect for this.

The original beetle is roughly 1.5m/59" high. Although actual height may vary slightly from model to model, the idea is to give participants an idea of the relative heights of our models.
