Welcome
Get involved in our research by rating the attractiveness of human bodies.
Click on the bodyLAB link below to learn more, or just start rating.
At bodyLab we're trying to untangle all the complex factors that make some figures more attractive than others.
We have created a population of figures stripped of any racial or cultural identifiers
(like clothing, hair or jewellery) and we are asking people from around the world to rate their attractiveness.
In March 2010 we launched the female study, and have now added male models to launch our male study.
We are going to breed from the most attractive models and will periodically refresh the population -
so come back and rate bodies again.
If you want to be notified of updates to our population please send us an email at
keepmeupdated@bodylab.net.au
(your email address won't be kept with your ratings - which are anonymous) or follow us on Twitter.
Click this button to find out more, or follow the link below to participate in our experiment.
Clicking this link will direct you to our experiment section. You'll be given instructions on how to proceed
(although it's pretty easy to figure out).
The experiment should only take 5-10 minutes.
If you've already finished an experiment you can follow this link to continue with that experiment,
or start a new experiment rating a different gender.
Have a look at the different ways you can keep track of this experiment's progress...
Once we have enough ratings for a population we'll use the most attractive
models from that population to "breed" new models.
You can choose to be notified each time we add a new population so that
you can come back and rate again (figures will be more attractive the next time round).
We can also let you know when we publish results or update other information on the site.
